Exact references only
A Glyph, collection, or creator is identified by its immutable 36-byte reference — never by a name, ticker, or image.
Raw transaction evidence
Canon retrieves and parses the actual commit and reveal transactions. Indexers only help find them; they are never believed.
Two separate questions
“Is this relationship valid on-chain?” and “is it the reference you expected?” are answered separately, and neither is guessed.
What Canon cannot decide for you
The chain can prove that a Glyph is related to a specific reference. It cannot know which reference youmeant to trust. Get the expected collection or creator reference from the creator's official channel — their website, a verification link or QR code they published, or a Canon receipt received through a trusted channel — then let Canon check the chain against it.
